Is it possible to map the pod buttons differently to the factory preset? I’d prefer to have the upper button shift to a harder gear & the lower to any easier gear (like the cable shifter). I see there is a feature in the app to map the pod, but it seems disabled. Will this come with the updated app?
Yes you can, but there is a small bug in the app that is not working right now. It will be fixed shortly, then you can map them however you want.
When is “shortly”?
This is a pretty basic feature on any other wireless shifting system, right now having the buttons backwards compared to my other wireless shifting systems and not being able to change it makes it pretty difficult to shift using muscle memory, I don’t want to have to think each time I shift.
After using mine for a few rides, re-mapping the buttons is something I really want to do. I’m really loving the smooth fast gears, but having to battle my muscle memory has caused a couple of wrong shifts.
