Shifter & Pod Pairing

NXS Setup and Operation

Good news: Your shifter and pod come pre‑paired from us.
In normal use, you should not need to perform this process.

Only follow these steps if pairing was lost or you are instructed to re‑pair.

Step 1: Put the Motor Unit Into Pairing Mode

  1. Press and hold the silver function button on the motor unit.

  2. Continue holding for 10 seconds.

    • The LED will blink at around 3 seconds and 6 seconds — keep holding until you reach 10 seconds.

  3. Release the button.

  4. The LED will blink and the motor will perform a homing movement.

:right_arrow: The motor is now in auto‑pairing mode for 1 minute.

Step 2: Put the Pod Into Pairing Mode

  1. Press and hold the reset button on the pod for 6 seconds.

  2. The pod LED will blink.

  3. The pod should automatically connect to the motor.

Step 3: Verify Pairing

  • Press any button on the pod.

  • The LED on the motor should blink in response.

:white_check_mark: Pairing may take up to 3 seconds to complete.

Troubleshooting

  • In areas with many nearby wireless devices, pairing may not succeed on the first attempt.

  • If pairing fails, simply repeat the process starting from Step 1.

Pod Reset Button Location

  • The reset button is hidden and has no visible bump.

  • It is located on the left side of the pod, underneath the “N” in the logo.
